Looking to adopt a furry friend? Northern Rivers Animal Services (NRAS) is the perfect place to start. We are a self-funded, not-for-profit charity dedicated to providing foster care and new homes for abandoned, abused, lost, and unwanted dogs and cats in the Northern Rivers region of NSW.

Under the governance of the Committee, elected annually by its members, NRAS has two areas of the organisation - an Op Shop and its Rescue Shelter, overseen by the relevant Managers and a solid volunteer base.

NRAS' objectives are simple:

• Work towards preventing the birth of unwanted kittens and puppies through its Subsidised Desexing program

• Find safe and happy homes with responsible pet owners

• Target zero euthanasia rates of all healthy & treatable cats & dogs
